Missouri Solar Plans & Incentives
Financing
Create a financing program that can be customized to fit your needs and monthly budget with no prepayment penalties.
Incentives
30% Federal Tax Credit (ITC)

Nationwide home and business owners who install solar may be eligible to receive a 30% tax credit that can be carried forward for up to 5 years if an individual doesn’t have enough tax liability in year one. Consult your tax advisor to determine whether this credit is available to you and in what amount.
If your system produces more energy than you are using, you may be eligible for net metering, which is when your system is credited for extra energy production. These credits may be applied to your monthly electricity bill to help offset the cost. The net metering rate can vary by utility provider.
Utility Specific

Ameren Missouri, Columbia Water & Light, Liberty, and Kansas City Power & Light have various incentives available for qualifying homeowners.
